dog owners.  Many dogs can be difficult to handle and without the knowledge to help these animals, they get abandoned.  They are either left to the streets, or if they are lucky, they may be brought to a shelter, and if there is room there, they may be put up for adoption.  If not, they become part of the statistic.

It is my driving cause to help prevent much of this.  If dog owners can learn a simple way to handle these issues without frustration and anger, then many dogs would never be given up to begin with.  I hope you feel as strongly about this as many of us do.  Together we can save the lives of many animals and bring a sense of balance back into the dog/human relationship.
